E-Conversation Want to speak German ? Just start talking !    PRESENTATION About me : My name is Vera JAOUADI and I have created this website for you. I am German by birth and French by adoption. I was born and raised in the region of Saarland, which is located near the borders with France and Luxembourg ; it is one of the sixteen federal states of Germany. German is my mother tongue. After obtaining the bachor's degree, I spent some time travelling, staying in South America, where I learnt Spanish, then in the United States and in England where I improved my English ; finally I came to settle in France. There I did my graduate studies and completed a master's degree in sociology at the SORBONNE, then turned towards the studies of languages. And this is how I obtained a bachelor's degree in German at the University of Paris X and a certificate of competency to teach French at the Alliance Française. In my professional life, I've worked in various areas, including German teaching (private and small group tuition). My ability to speak several languages represents, in my opinion, a major asset to spot and understand the difficulties or blockings one may encounter when learning a foreign language. This comprehension guides my work at E-Conversation What I propose to you : I propose to help you to improve your oral aptitudes through interactive discussion meetings in German (thanks to the internet technology). We live in a world which moves faster and faster, a world in which communication and travel beyond the borders are part of the everyday life of many people. It is necessary to adapt. Today, the command of foreign languages is essential, because it makes it possible to communicate, it opens our mind to other cultures and allows us to discover our differences When learning a foreign language you have to acquire the ability to speak it, so .....   improve your German language fluency while talking ! E-conversation has been created to allow you to practice your German online. How ? Without moving from your home. You just need an ADSL Internet connection and the SKYPE software (free). If you don't have SKYPE or if you cannot install it, follow the link. (The discussion meetings can also be done over the phone, but SKYPE is the better solution.) Who's this website aimed at ?
